genfrac

Genfrac is a highly customizable fractal generator written in C.

Genfrac in its current form is only capable of generating 2D bitmaps. The project has several goals:

• to add support for several types of files for output.
• to add support for animation, such as zooming, palette transition, but most especially for fractal animation (i.e. changing values of the constants just slightly every frame, creating the illusion of one fractal transforming into another).
• to add support for 3D fractals.
• to add support for mathematical generation of sound and music.
